The SWRIS steering committee June 2015 – June 2020 consists of the following members:

• R. Nurmohamed Ph.D. (Chair – representative of AdeKUS)
•                                             (member – representative SWM)
•                                             (member – representative MDS)
•                                             (member – representative WLA)
•                                             (member – representative MAS)
•                                             (member – representative private sector)

The main tasks of the steering committee are:

1. to coordinate and promote SWRIS activities on a national and international level;
2. to maintain the SWRIS web portal: information on the pages, documents, maps, links, and other relevant documentation in the SWRIS portal;
3. to accept new partners to SWRIS;
4. to mobilize resources to continue maintenance of the SWRIS portal and execution of activities of SWRIS;
5. to prepare an annual program and budget for SWRIS for the coming year and submit this for approval to partners;
6. to prepare and submit an annual report (progress and financial report) to all partners once a year about activities performed in the previous year;
7. organize steering committee meetings at least twice each year.
